Members had their say at last year’s Annual General Meeting
As a member of Royal London you are one of the owners of our business. We’d like to thank you for your ongoing support, and also thank those who came along to our Annual General Meeting (the AGM), which took place on Wednesday 14 June 2017 at Clothworkers’ Hall in London.
The AGM gave you the chance to consider and, if you thought fit, vote for the resolutions contained in the Notice of AGM. It is an important annual event for Royal London, and gives the Board an opportunity to present its view of the Company’s performance and strategy to you. Last year’s meeting also featured presentations by Group Chief Executive Phil Loney, Group Finance Director Tim Harris, and Tracey Graham, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. You can view these presentations by clicking the link below.
The AGM took place after another good year for Royal London, with strong financial results and significant strategic progress. Being a mutual means that eligible members benefit from our success through ProfitShare. Last year the Board has proposed an increase in ProfitShare from £70m in 2015 to £114m in 2016
